1-Wire Switch

Looking at 1-wire networks in general, I see that there are 1-wire switches that allow separate branches to home run into the switch. Would this work with the WEL? Is any one doing this?
I had a problem with one section of the cable which took down all the sensors on the 1-wire network (30 devices).
