Posted by Bill on Monday, 4 May 2009, at 11:48 a.m., Nonetheless, pretty creative and cool idea! Hadn't thought about the concept of changing the base image as a function of one or more WEL input signals. I can think of a lot of creative uses here. In my case, I'd simplify my diagram to only show the cooling circuit when in cooling mode, and likewise the heating circuit. I'd also implement different color schemes to associate blues with cooling and reds with heating. And I'd probably use some kind of warning color scheme, only visible when certain parameters move out of a 'safe' range. I'm sure more ideas would come to mind. Thanks for sharing the thought! This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
