I have been thinking on similar lines. I am planning a large ASHP in an outbuilding with a ground loop connected to a pump and 4 large vehicle radiators with fans. Then use external air when its over 7c and air via the ground loop/radiators when the outside air temperature is colder. I have not seen anyone else doing it though !
