Re: Averaging [ Read Responses | Return to the Index ]
Posted by Bill on Tuesday, 12 January 2010, at 12:07 p.m., Lorne, I'm sorry, I've been out of town quite a bit and thus hadn't checked out here for a little while. I'm sorry for the delay responsing to your note. Meanwhile, I think Phil answered, and covering more subjects than I would have known to cover. Only thing I can think of to add to Phil's response is that if you want the average of 2 numbers, don't use another Expression to divide by 2. Instead, apply a 0.5 calibration factor. This saves a 'device slot.' Best regards, Bill
This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
