Everyone needs a place to show off their designs. . .  This is it!
Designer
Admin Page

If you're a designer (either amateur or professional) and you're involved with a green, energy efficient or sustainable home design that you'd like to share with others,  you may be interested in participating in our Designer Showcase.  Our Showcase is an easy way for you to post information and pictures of your design online for others to see.  You don't need to be a Web Developer, or even a programmer.  All you need is a Web Browser, and the ability to organize your thoughts into pictures and text (see a simple sample).

  • Our latest Showcase is by Brian.
Brian is building a super insulated home that uses earth tubes store up summer heat for the winter. Check out Brian's  Designer Showcase as his construction continues.  Post any questions you may have for Brian in our Forum.

  • This work-in-progress is by Scott Hall in Athens County, Ohio.
Scott is building his own straw bale home, and his showcase is a journal of some of the things that he's doing there to follow at an environmentally responsible way of life. Check out Scott's  Designer Showcase as his construction continues.  Post any questions you may have for Scott in our Forum.

  • Our first Showcase was by Jeff Ray, from Nashville, Tn.
Jeff's "Solstice House" design features earth sheltering, passive solar orientation, and a two-story atrium with a large water feature used to control internal humidity.  Follow along at Jeff's  Designer Showcase as his design develops.

If you'd like to share your own design ideas, just fire off an email to me (Phil) at ideas@OurCoolHouse.com letting me know a little about your project.

If your project is relevant, I'll create a blank Showcase for you, and setup a Username and Password.  From there it's up to you what you put online. When you're ready, I'll link your Showcase to this page so you can start attracting visitors. There is NO CHARGE for being in our Showcase.

Caveat:
The one overriding consideration for inclusion in the Showcase is that this is a forum for IDEAS, not products or services.

What are you waiting for ?

Phil Malone.
