HVAC Control Software

     My related HVAC pages
My HVAC control system runs on a Z-World Coyote (BS2600) processor. I've made the code available here for anyone interested in adapting portions of my code for their own controller.

This code has evolved over several generations so it doesn't bear all the hallmarks of a clean software design. However, it's been running bug-free now over a year now and I'm quite proud of it :)

The program is written using the Dynamic C compiler (V8.1) provided by Z-World. The code is structured as a mainline multi-tasking program utilizing a suite of custom designed libraries.  Right-click the links below to download the code modules.

Web OurCoolHouse.com

This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project.
